Q – What is your specialty?

A – We provide last minute reliability. Also, our specialty care includes medicating or giving insulin injections to diabetic pets. We provide loving care for your pet and enjoy getting to know your pet. We always make sure they are happy, safe and content.

Q – What or who is your biggest competitor and how do you provide better services/products?

A – There are a lot of people claiming they are pet sitters, however, they are not professional pet sitters. We are fully insured and bonded and offer our services on a very professional level - from consultation to the visits. We have many references and are highly recommended. We are not a fly-by-night operation and we take great pride in building relationships with the pets we care for and their owners - we take great pride in the trust that the pet owner places in us.
Anyone can hire their neighbor or relative to let their dog out, but how do you know they will show up? How do you know they will provide knowledgeable care for your pet? You can be guaranteed if you hire a professional pet sitter, your pet will receive personalized, reliable care. We care for your pets as if they were our own. Our pet sitters are hand-picked pet experts with background checks. They understand the relationship between a pet owner and their pet. It’s all about the bond you build with your canine or feline best friend and we love developing that bond with your pet. We want to know them just as well as you do.

Q – What is your mission statement or philosophy behind running your business?

A - We provide high quality, reliable, loving and personalized pet sitting.

Q - Can you share your annual revenue?

A- More than $100,000 annually.

Q – Is there a history regarding your business you’d like to share?

A - Christine Chiu started No Worries Pet Sitting because she received several requests from clients at the animal hospital she was working at for a pet sitter. She realized there was a need for in-home professional pet care.

Chiu's background includes completing a veterinary assistance two-year program before she was 18. She has worked one on one with many veterinarians at numerous animal hospitals as a veterinary assistant and technician (before there was a certification to be a veterinary technician).

She has owned pets all her life and as a girl she brought in injured birds and squirrels from nests and hid them so her parents wouldn't know. She tried to care for them and help them get healthy again. She loved her childhood dogs, parakeets and cats more than anything.

Now that she is almost 30, her two dogs are her kids. The first thing she gets to see when she wakes up are her dogs lying next to her.

Q – What are your plans for the future?

A - We would like to continue to provide the same high quality service and expand our business to other areas of PA.

Q - Do you have more than one location?

A - While we have a very strong presence online and on Facebook we don’t have a brick and mortar location because we care for pets in the clients' homes. Our clients are always on our Facebook page and website and you can find numerous testimonials and pet pictures as well.

Q – Is this a family owned/operated business?

A - Yes.

Q – Is this a chain or franchise?

A - No.

Q - Have you won any awards or had special recognition?

A - No.

Q - Did you receive any type of special funding to start up your business?

A - No.

Q - Is there anything else you’d like to share about your business? History etc….

A - We are members of the Whitehall and Nazareth chambers of commerce. We have an event with the Whitehall Chamber called the Whitehall Doggie Day and Pet Parade. Please plan to visit the event this year. It’s Sept. 21 at the Whitehall Parkway. There will be lots of pet rescue groups, pet-related businesses, food, music, and more! Some of the featured activities at this event include the pet parade, pet fashion show, pet trick contest and pet wedding.
