“Hardworking taxpayers across the 15th District, Pennsylvania and America are looking for someone who will fight for them as President.

"I am endorsing Governor Romney because he's the Presidential candidate that will give Americans what they want and need – a fair shot at economic opportunity and prosperity for their families.

"We've spent four years ‘hoping’ in this country – now it's time for results. Look at his record and you will see – in both the private sector and in service to the public – Mitt Romney delivers results.”

Joining Dent were U.S. Reps. Jim Gerlach, R-Chester, and Bill Schuster, R-Blair, and GOP leaders.

PoliticsPA reported that the press conference is an indication that Romney will fight hard for Pennsylvania in the presidential primary, even though it's former U.S. Sen Rick Santorum's home turf.

Gov. Tom Corbett has not made any endorsements in the presidential race, according to a Capitol Ideas blog post of The Morning Call.
