Creditsafe USA to Create 250 Jobs in South Whitehall

Creditsafe USA, a supplier of online business credit information, will create 250 jobs when it opens its North American headquarters in South Whitehall.

The company is leasing 12,000 square feet of office space at Winchester Plaza, 1550 Pond Road.

Creditsafe USA is a venture of the Creditsafe Group, based in the Netherlands. According to its website, the Creditsafe Group is a European provider of on-line company credit information.

The North American headquarters will open with 50 employees but expects to grow to more than 250 employees within five years.

"Creditsafe USA is the latest venture from the Creditsafe Group, Europe’s leading supplier of on-line business credit information," said David Knowles, marketing director for the Creditsafe Group, in a prepared release. "With over 50,000 subscribers across Europe, we are expanding into the North American marketplace and the offices on Pond Road will act as our USA national headquarters.” 

The company said on its website it is already hiring salespeople in the region.

Creditsafe USA President Matthew Debbage, said in the release that the company chose to open its North American headquarters in South Whitehall for several reasons: "The office space available to us at Pond Road, its connectivity, and the talent pool in the local community, made this a natural choice for us when fixing a location for our American launch." 

Ann Kline of Colliers International’s Allentown office division facilitated the lease for Creditsafe USA. Matt Dorman of NAI Summit, was the leasing agent for the property.
