Underage Drinkers at House Party Cited, Police Say

The alleged underage drinking took place at the Weisenberg Township home of a Northwestern Lehigh School Board member, according to a report in The Morning Call.

 

Twelve people, including two from Fogelsville and three from Orefield, have been cited for underage drinking at a Feb. 3 party at a Weisenberg Township home, state police at Fogelsville said.

The alleged underage drinking took place at 4542 Senny Court. The home is the residence of LeRoy Sorensen, vice-president of the Northwestern Lehigh School Board, according to a report by The Morning Call.

State police said they cited Christopher Rice, 18, of Fogelsville; and Hunter Culp, 20, Christopher Ruch, 20, and Brett Austin, 18, all of Orefield, with underage drinking. A 16-year-old girl from Fogelsville was also cited, police said.

The other seven people who were cited, including five other juveniles, were from New Tripoli, Kutztown, Slatington and Germansville, police said.

The five were cited through District Judge Michael Faulkner in Upper Macungie, police said.

Citations do not indicate a conviction.
