Jill Biden to Campaign in Wescosville Monday
Dr. Jill Biden will stop at the Pennsylvania Education Association as part of a two-day, seven-city tour for the Obama campaign.
Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, is coming Monday, Oct. 8, to Wescosville, as part of a two-day, seven-city canvass kickoff for the Obama-Biden campaign.
Jill Biden will arrive at 5:15 p.m. at the Pennsylvania State Education Association, 4950 Medical Center Circle, Wescosville, for what is being called a Voter Registration and Canvass Thank-You Event.
According to the Obama campaign, Jill Biden will encourage supporters and volunteers to remind Pennsylvanians to register to vote before the Oct. 9 deadline. She also will encourage volunteers to help organize their communities between now and Election Day and to thank them for canvassing.
Biden's visit to Wescosville will be the last of four stops on Monday, following appearances earlier in the day in Harrisburg, Scranton and Hazleton. On Tuesday, she will travel to Reading, Lancaster and Philadelphia.
Jill Biden grew up in Willow Grove. Her husband was born in Scranton.

So which is it, open, or only open to Obama people? I would like what she has to say. Mary Ellen and Mariella seem to have 2 separate sources. Thank you.

no reason to send the high powered campaigners to PA when it is already won by Obama, this is a way to say thanks to the supporters without actually sending anyone of significance

Actually, her husband is busy in areas that might not be more important. She's just here to put the final nail on a dent.

Special thanks to the FLOOD of New Yorkers energetically coming down at their own expense, to help talk to people about voting Obama. It meant a lot to so many homeowners. See you next weekend!

So if its already a moot point, why the need for outsiders to talk with people regarding Obama? Mixed talk versus actions......hmmmm....where have I heard that before? Mixed messages create fear, so I am assuming that there remains concern...suggesting it isn't a guarantee.

How do they know if you are not an Obama supporter? If you want to hear what she has to say then go. Maybe she will sway your opinion one way or another.

Points of clarification, since I initiated the question about whether it would be "open" over the weekend, but then did more research today.
1) I called PSEA office and they didn't know! They suggested I call Dem party office.
2) Rather than do that, I went to the Obama website. To register, I had to give my name, email, county, and phone number, and RSVP, and then I got a confirmation/ acknowdgement that I was in. Not a ticket, but just a confirmation.
3) Sadly, due to a late change of plans, I couldn't make it, so I can't say if I would have truely been able to get in, but all indications from the written confirmation was that I might have.
