Live Coverage of Hurricane Sandy

See a tree down? Notice a road is flooded? Post info and photos here to help your neighbors as we brave the storm together. We go live at 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29.

Forecasters and state officials say Hurricane Sandy could be unprecedented — and Patch sites across the Lehigh Valley want to provide you with up-to-the-minute information.

Please add information to this blog — you can add photos, news about power outages, flooding, road closures or what's happening in your front yard. To add your comments, just start typing in the text box above.

You can upload photos, too, to show the world what this unprecedented storm looks like as it passes through our neighborhoods.

If you are using Twitter to share information, use the hashtags #LVsandy and #sandypa and the tweets will appear automatically in the live stream here.

You also can use the comments section of this article, as well.

Whatever you do, stay safe!

Think I'm heading to Planet Fitness, Tilghman Square, where the management has graciously offered premises to those without power who need/want showers and lockers. You don't have to be a member of the gym - how nice! Might be last time i head outside for a few days.

Could all the impermeable surfaces that have popped up in LMT keep their runoff to themselves. Downstream property owners should not be penalized by lack of enforcement of downstream rights. "Some animals are less equal than other animals".

Not much happening here in LST. Rain and some wind gusts, it's like waiting for the other shoe to drop, maybe we will be lucky and get spared the worst of it.

Still have power in Wilson at the moment, but we had our first flicker of the lights a few minutes ago.

Wind getting a bit gustier, power flickered on and off for a nanosecond. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come, ugh!

We're doing pretty good here in PA. Let's be thankful we're not like NYC, NJ, or parts of OHIO. www.firebrandcentral.com

Well, we could be doing better here in Bethlehem. Large top of huge hemlock tree has fallen off. A section of fence blew down and we have no power. Yard is littered with branches.

Trying to contact a friend who lives on Buckingham in Bethlehem, but not getting a response to text or email. Can anyone tell me if power is out in that area? He has both of his frail/elderly parents with him - praying they are all well.

At the time of this writing, Giant in Emmaus is open, but only selling non-perishable items. In Upper Milford Township, the road is blocked leading from Brunner Rd, just after the turn to get on South Fifth St, towards Kozy Korner, but don't know reason why. Fifth Street mountain is passable but lots of debris.

Anyone in need of pine wood? Our pine tree fell over last night and uprooted. No one was hurt and no major damage done.

Anyone know a better way to contact PPL? My inlaws trees are down and they ripped the wires out of the house. Called & left a message regarding wires down.

1-800-342-5775 is the best way I know of to reach PPL. You may also want to call 911 if you think the wires pose a threat to someone's safety.
