McDonald's Plans to Renovate, Expand Restaurant on Hamilton Boulevard

McDonald's to ask South Whitehall Zoners for variances for expansion and renovation.

McDonald's USA LLC, owner of the McDonald's on Hamilton Boulevard, will ask South Whitehall Zoners for several variances at the Dec. 17 meeting so it can build a 12-foot addition and adjust drive-thru signage.

According to the zoning agenda, McDonald's USA LLC is seeking relief to renovate the existing building and facilities on the property at 3860 Hamilton Blvd. It seeks a front-yard setback variance for a proposed 12-foot addition. It also seeks variances for drive-thru lane widths and a rear drive aisle. The property, which is across from Dorney Park, is zoned highway commercial.
