New Chef at Grumpy's Bar-B-Que Roadhouse
Chef Jacob Snyder is the newest member of Grumpy's staff.
Grumpy's Bar-B-Que Roadhouse welcomed Chef Jacob Snyder as the newest member of the Roadhouse staff.
Snyder will be the new kitchen manager, according to Grumpy's Facebook site.
"Besides his love for barbecue, Jacob brings the experience and creativity honed at Paolo's and Iron Lakes," the site said.
Our Patch reviewer wrote, "Their claim to fame is all manner of barbecued meats — spare ribs, pork butts, pork loin, beef brisket, prime rib, chicken wings, chicken quarters and more — rubbed with a seasoning mix then slow cooked and smoked over a hickory wood fire for up to 12 hours."
The restaurant, with full bar, is housed in an 1840s tavern in a small town locals still know as Mechanicsville. It’s located at 3000 Mauch Chunk Road, a few minutes north of Allentown, just inside the border of South Whitehall Township.
