Jennie M. Shellhammer, 92, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at the Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the wife of the late Ralph F. Shellhammer.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Annie (Wilt) Smith. Before retiring in 1987, she worked at the Cetronia Elementary School for 36 years as a cook. Along with her enjoyment of cooking, she liked to travel and cheer on the Phillies. She was a member of Cedar United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Survivors: Sons, Gary R. and his wife Phyllis of Allentown, Randy S. and his wife Victoria of Mertztown, daughter Gail A. Christman of Allentown, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother George.
