The Trojans went into Friday night’s football game with a 4-2 Lehigh Valley Conference standing. They were facing Nazareth’s undefeated Blue Eagles with a 6-0 record.
But it was also homecoming for Parkland High School and the crowd helped cheer the Trojans to a 47-21 victory.
It was a battle of Lehigh Valley heavyweights, according to The Express-Times, but Parkland out-muscled the Blue Eagles.
The homecoming festivities continue tonight with the homecoming dance where the king and queen will be crowned.
