UPDATE at 9:30 p.m: Rte. 22 is now open and traffic is flowing freely.
Pennsylvania State Police have closed all lanes of Rte. 22 East near the MacArthur Road exit due to a vehicle accident a little after 1 p.m. Nov. 5.
Scanner reports said there is an overturned truck in the construction zone. Police report it will be an extended closure and urge motorists to use alternate routes.
