The Rose Bowl matchup, with a Waukee connection, is set for Jan. 1, 2013: Stanford vs. Wisconsin.

Stanford will face Wisconsin in the big Rose Bowl game scheduled for 5 p.m. on New Year's Day 2013 on ESPN.
Four other bowl games will be played in the afternoon starting at noon with the Gator Bowl and the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

New Year's Day football will wrap up with North Illinois versus Florida State in the Discover Orange Bowl at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
