Who Should Perform in Covered Bridge Park? [Poll]

Take our Patch poll as South Whitehall officials and staff consider who to book for free summer concerts at Covered Bridge Park.

South Whitehall Township will again host free, summer concerts in Covered Bridge Park and officials say they're open to suggestions on who should perform.

Take our Patch poll as township officials and staff contemplate who to book for those hot summer nights.

If you've got a particular band or singer in mind, tell us in the comments. Or if there's another style of music you'd like to hear, other than what's included in the poll, tell us in the comments, too.

(We'll whisper in South Whitehall's ear!)

And sorry, no alcohol allowed in the park.

You should hire people like Lucas Lasagna, Michael Sherer, Joe Wagner, doctor ( in music and jazz studies) Frank Dibussolo and Lucas Lasagna duet, Lucas Lasagna and his full band the no names featuring Steve Liu the upright bass player from the Allenrtown symphony orchestra, Chicago Carl on piano/keys, Brian Ruk on Drums, the world famous Joe Wagener on guitar or depending scheduling the equally world famous Frank Dibussulo on guitar or both of them, Lucas Lasagna, Michael Shere and the legendary founding members of the Del Vikings Ron Coleman splitting lead vocals, singing songs in harmony and unison and putting on a full Rat Pack style show where they also include tons of great oldies, Motown, funk, rock, soft rock and basically anything the audience wants they play.

Also bands like generations, Sara ayers, but I honestly think jazz is the best idea and lends to a more sophisticated crowd and has become extremely popular with the young 20s set all the way to people in their 90s. It's cross generational. Maybe Kato, or Riverside Jazz..... I think even having all of these bands and more and doing a small jazz festival or weekly jazz shows. We all know how to work crowds and have great followings and our crowds have money and spend money and are not wreck less and destructive but still truly know how to have a great party. I know I'm missing a number of bands and I apologize but there are some wonderful jazz bands and artists in the valley and some of us have national and even international followings
