Get Out and Vote: Tuesday

It's Election Day. Parkland voters will make decision on library referendum. Polls close at 8 p.m.

Today is Election Day. The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

In South Whitehall Township, along with the rest of the Parkland Area School District, we decide whether to pay a higher real estate tax to build a new public library.

There are also numerous countywide and regional races to vote in.

The weather forecast should make it pleasant enough to get to your polling place. It’s supposed to be cloudy—but no rain—with a high temperature topping out at about 50 degrees.

Parkland Schools and South Whitehall Township municipal offices are open today.

The South Whitehall Planning Commission will review the final draft of the proposed Zoning Ordinance at its meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the public meeting room of the township municipal building, 4444 Walbert Ave. The meeting is open to the public.  The draft zoning ordinance is here.
