Activities, Free Flu Shots at Senior Citizens Day Thursday

Senior citizens from Parkland School District and northwestern Lehigh County, and their families, are invited to attend the ninth annual Senior Citizens Activity Day Thursday at the Schnecksville Fire Company pavilion.

Senior citizens from Parkland School District and northwestern Lehigh County, and their families, are invited to attend the ninth annual Senior Citizens Activity Day Thursday at the Schnecksville Fire Company pavilion.

The day will be filled with activities, vendors, information for seniors and a tour of Crystal Spring Farm for 50 people who have pre-registered. Lehigh Valley Hospital will be giving free flu shots to the public. Representatives from the offices of state Sen. Pat Browne (R-Lehigh) and state Rep. Gary Day (R-Lehigh County) will 

Activities include bean bag, horseshoes, ladder and ring tosses, darts, disc golf, football toss, golf putting green, bamboo fishing, shuffleboard, bowling and bingo. Medals will be awarded. 

Coffee, tea, juice and donuts will be provided in the morning. Fruit and snacks will provided in a goodie bag and a hot lunch will be served.

Registration begins at 8:15 a.m.; games start at 9:15 a.m. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.
