Neighbors Pull Together for National Night Out in South Whitehall
National Night Out, a family event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, was held for the third year in Covered Bridge Park.
South Whitehall residents gathered Tuesday for the third annual National Night Out Tuesday in Covered Bridge Park. Although the skies threatened rain, the weather held out to the end of the evening.
The family event, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, featured a variety of educational booths, raffles, food and games for kids.
The purpose of the event is to heighten awareness of crime prevention programs and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
