'Hell's Kitchen' to Feature Parkland Grad

Jessica Lewis, a 2004 Parkland High School graduate and Hall of Fame swimmer, will compete on Gordon Ramsay's 'Hell's Kitchen.'

Parkland High School graduate Jessica Lewis will compete on season 11 of the popular TV show "Hell’s Kitchen," which airs at 8 p.m. March 12 on FOX.

Lewis grew up in Cetronia, where her parents, Cheryl and Scott, and brother, Matt, still live.

Lewis is a junior sous chef at Bagatelle, the hot French restaurant in the West Village known for its wild, anything-goes brunch parties.

Lewis will be a member of the women’s red team and compete for a head chef position at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub and Grill at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

She will prepare her signature dish: Wahoo with vegetable succotash and a lemon thyme vinaigrette.

Lewis graduated from Parkland in 2004 and the University of Virginia in 2008 with a degree in economics.

Lewis was a Hall of Fame swimmer at Parkland. She was a nine-time PIAA State Champion and a PIAA Record Holder of the 100 freestyle. At UVA she was an All American and an ACC Champion in the 200 freestyle.

Lewis attended The Institute of Culinary Education and completed an internship with Abigail Kirsch Catering. She worked at Vanguard Financial Services and STK Midtown Restaurant in New York City where she was a chef tournant.
