Parkland Library Used Book Sale Changes Location to Asbury Church

Parkland Community Library's annual used book sale will not be held at LCTI in Schnecksville this year.

The Friends of the Parkland Community Library's annual used book sale will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church in South Whitehall this year, instead of Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, as in previous years, according to the library's website.

The reason for the change was not immediately known.

The book sale will be held 10 a.m. 7 p.m. Aug. 9 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 10.

Donated books will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 7 p .m. Aug. 5 through Aug. 8 at Asbury United Methodist Church, at Springhouse Road and Walbert Avenue, not at the library.

Books, games and puzzles in good condition are requested.

The following items will NOT be accepted: encyclopedias, VHS tapes, audiocassettes, older computer books (copyright before 2010), magazines, or any book that is not in good condition.
