PennDOT Road Work This Week

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through work zones.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation plans the following road work this week:

*Monday, Jan. 23

Crews will cut brush along Mauch Chunk Road, between 15th Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews will seal cracks on Route 309 between Ridgeview Drive and Snowdrift Road, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

* Wednesday, Jan. 25

With the road work, there will be lane restrictions.

Motorists are cautioned to watch for stopped vehicles and to use caution when traveling through work areas.

Rain will cause delays.
