Around the clock, find food and family at Chris' Family Restaurant on W. Tilghman Street.

There is literally no time that a hungry soul can’t stop and find the lights on and a meal waiting at . The family owned and operated establishment on West Tilghman Street, next to Kuhnsville Car Wash, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Kirkopoulos family describes their extensive fare as American and Pennsylvania Dutch. Everything is made on the premises, including the baked goods (cakes, pies, cheesecake, even dinner rolls). Chris’ serves beer, wine and specialty cocktails from the full service bar. The first floor private banquet facility can accommodate up to 75 guests.

Hearty breakfasts are a staple and available around the clock. Of course there are omelets, eggs, and home fries, not to mention ham, bacon, sausage, corned beef and scrapple. Chris’ Big Breakfast Platters get serious, pairing eggs with pork chops, rib eye or black diamond steak, and other dinner-worthy meats. Then there are the homemade buttermilk pancakes and French toast, served with a choice of add-ons, including chocolate chips, blueberries, pecans, banana, apples and ice cream.

Whether for lunch or dinner, the menu contains plenty of casual options with burgers, wraps, hot and cold sandwiches, triple deckers, stuffed pitas, steak sandwiches and classics such as reubens and tuna melts (most $3.29-$7.99). A few of the substantial salads are the coconut shrimp salad, spinach salad with chicken and Greek salad (around $6.99-$10.29).

The selection of starters hits virtually every item that comes to mind as a crunchy, deep-fried cure for the munchies: potato skins, wings, nachos, quesadilla, pierogies, onion rings, cheesy bacon fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers…

Chris’ dinner entrees cover a broad range of culinary territory. To simplify, they include steak and chops, broiled and fried seafood, several Italian dishes, chicken, and the familiar house specials of grilled liver, meatloaf, roast turkey and baked Virginia ham. Most are served with soup and two vegetables ($7.99-$16.99).
