The chain stakes claim to having originated loaded potato skins, stuffed with cheddar cheese and bacon. “Right Portion, Right Price” selections (including a grilled chicken cobb salad, petite sirloin and dragonfire salmon) aim to satisfy diners who are watching their weight and/or being thrifty. The kids’ menu caters to smaller appetites with easy-to-eat favorites (mac & cheese, hamburgers, chicken fingers).
Drinks are an important part of the equation and tend to be colorful concoctions made with blends of premium liquors. T.G.I. Friday’s also carries a large selection of beer and wine. On the non-alcoholic side, smoothies and signature slushes receive the same attention for fruity fun and attractive presentation.

The restaurants maintain consistent décor, featuring distinctive red and white striped canopies. Menus, advertising and other merchandise capitalize on the recognizable motif. Even the email-based customer rewards program is known as “Give Me More Stripes.”
