"Who wouldn't melt over these 15 made-to-order milk- and dark-chocolate caramels ($15.40, joshearlycandies.com) topped with a sprinkling of French sea salt?" the magazine writes.

Barry C. Dobil Jr., who is Josh Early V's grandson, wrote on his blog that the Sea Salt Caramels were first introduced to the market in January, some 70 years after his great grandfather's original vanilla caramel was developed. The "new twist" was adding the sea salt, with more than 30 different salts tested, he wrote. The one chosen is hand-harvested in France and known as "the caviar of sea salts," he said.
