Sunsets North Wins Red Robin Band Contest

The public viewed the bands' videos and voted for a winner via Facebook "likes."

 

Sunsets North, a pop-rock-experimental band based in the Lehigh Valley, has won 's "Road to the Stage" competition.

Red Robin posted the winning band today, June 25, on its Facebook page.

The band will open for UUU at Red Robin's Summer Bash at Tilghman Square, South Whitehall on Aug. 24. The band also wins $500 and other prizes.

Red Robin listed the band members as Warren North on vocals and guitar, Derrick Stair on bass and vocals, and Colin Kocher on drums.

The restaurant in its first Battle-of-the-Bands Competition. The public voted for the winner through Facebook "likes" for the band's video.

The other semi-finalists were

Goodbye Friday, a pop rock band based out of Hopatcong, NJ. 

Taking Tomorrow, a band based out of Bethlehem that classifies itself as modern rock/post-grunge/pop rock. 

Run For It, a pop-punk/rock band out of Harleysville. 

The Big Empty, a rock grunge/hard rock band out of Bath.
