Donation made to American Heart Association

The First Annual 5K Run/Walk with Your Doctor netted $7,000 for the American Heart Association. The 5K was held on July 13 in the Lehigh Parkway, Allentown. However, on Friday, August 9, Elizabeth Khan, M.D. presented the check to American Heart Association representative, Kathleen Bitner, in the amount of $7000. The check presentation took place at Tilghman Medical Center at 4825 W. Tilghman Street, South Whitehall, PA. Tilghman Medical Center and Westfield Hospital were the main sponsors of the 5K event.
The second annual 5K Run/Walk with Your Doctor will be held July 12, 2013. Proceeds will benefit our veterans.
