PennDOT Road Work This Week

Motorists are urged to use caution through work zones.

PennDOT crews will do milling and paving on Route 309 between Walbert Avenue and Orefield Road on Friday.

Crews will be at work between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m.

There will be lane restrictions, with flagging. PennDOT advises motorists to watch for stopped vehicles and use caution through the work area.

Rain will cause delays.

Also this week, a PennDOT contractor will do milling and paving on Interstate 78, between Route 100 and Route 22, an area damaged by a recent

The work will only occur Monday through Thursday, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Tuesday, Aug. 23, through Tuesday, Aug. 30.
