PennDOT Road Work This Week

PennDOT asks motorists to be cautious while work is under way.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the following work will be done in South Whitehall this week:

* Maintenance crews will do milling and paving on Route 309 at Tilghman Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

There will be lane restrictions.

* Maintenance crews will seal cracks on Route 309, between Crackersport Road and Kernsville Road from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21.

It will be a mobile operation with lane restrictions and flagging.

Motorists should watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when proceeding through the areas, PennDOT says. Rain will cause delays.
