Two familiar faces in Lehigh County government are trying to step up to the county government's top job—county executive.

Democrat Tom Muller, the county director of administration, and Republican Scott Ott, vice chairman of the county commissioners, will face off in Tuesday's election.

Patch asked Muller and Ott to answer four questions as they look forward to Election Day.

Muller provided the answers.

But Ott, citing a hectic pre-election schedule, declined. Patch is reposting his answers to questions that were posed to candidates prior to the May primary.

Here is a closer look at the candidates. Click on their names for information on their educational, personal and professional backgrounds, as well as the answers to questions posed by Patch.
