Doris M. Erdman Heller, 91, Wife of Late Cetronia UCC Pastor

Doris M. Erdman Heller, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday.

She was the wife of the late Russell W. Erdman who died in 1979 and the late Rev. Robert Heller. 



Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Grace (Smith) Tremmell. Doris was a graduate of Liberty High School. She was part of Bethlehem Steel’s escort program.

Doris later attended Allentown Business School. She was an Administrative Assistant at the Reeves Library in Moravian College for more than 20 years.

She was a member of Cetronia United Church of Christ where her late husband formerly served as Pastor.

Survivors: daughters, Nancy F. Dunn and her husband, David of Macungie; Deborah A. Matyas and her husband, John of Bethlehem; a sister, Ruth Huether of Towson, Md; two granddaughters, Aubry Rydzewski of Kansas City, Mo and Lauren Bauer and her husband, Jon; and her newest great-grandson, Nicholas Bauer of Bethlehem. Doris is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Tremmell and a granddaughter, Lisa A. Campbell. 



Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
