Eleanor S. Lewis, 85, of South Whitehall Township, formerly of Washington DC, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at Luther Crest, South Whitehall Township. She is the wife of the late Robert Lee Lewis, Jr. who died Sept. 5, 2002.
Born in Columbus, Georgia on January 16, 1929 to the late John S. and Eva P. (Peyton) Sullivan. She is a member of Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.
Survivors: Loving son: Robert L. Lewis III (Joan K.) of Center Valley; grandchildren: Thomas Kendrick Lewis and Heather Padgett Lewis. Predeceased by a son: John Peyton Lewis, who died in 1974.
Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, 321 Wyandotte St. Bethlehem followed by the service at 11 a.m. Private interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. – Hellertown.
