Betty M. Marsteller, Owner of Marsteller Grain and Farms, Dies at 84

Betty M. Marsteller, 84, of Trexlertown, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

Betty M. Marsteller, 84, of Trexlertown, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  She was the wife of the late Paul H. Marsteller. Born in Breinigsville, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Edna L. George. 

She along with her husband owned and operated Marsteller Grain and Farms, Inc for over 60 years, where she worked as the bookkeeper. She was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville. Along with taking care of her family, she enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, card games which included solitaire every evening, traveling on bus trips, and puzzles of all sorts. 

Survivors: Sons, Jeffrey P. and his fiancée Tammy of Kutztown, Timothy E., and his companion Robyne Yorgey of Breinigsville, Randall J. and his wife Cynthia of Kutztown, Dr. Scott G.  and his wife Catherine of Richmond, Indiana, Paul H. Jr. and wife Allison of Orefield, daughters, Linda A., wife of Gerald Epperly of Glenrock, Wyoming, Dawn M. Armbruster of Mertztown, Elaine G., wife of Samuel Kemmerer of Fleetwood, Karen S., wife of Brian Hardcastle of Kempton, twenty-three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Eric J., brothers Wesley and John.

Services:  11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Highway S., with Pastor Martin A. Milne presiding.  Calling at church, 9:30 a.m. till time of service. Interment will be immediately following the services in the adjoining church cemetery.  Arrangements by Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville. www.schmoyerfuneralhome.com
