Obituary: Edward 'Tim' Tyler

Former member of the Woodlawn Fire Co. and shop foreman at Supreme Auto Body for 41 years, Edward 'Tim' Tyler, 76, died.

Edward “Tim” C. Tyler, 76, of Orefield passed away Sunday Feb. 3, in his home. He was the husband of Zandra A. (Grello) Tyler, they were married 24 years.

Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Elmer Tyler and Lucy (Fonzone) Saylor. Edward was a member of Jordan U.C.C. in Allentown. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a shop foreman at Supreme Auto Body for 41 years retiring in 1998. He was a member of Woodlawn Fire Company. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Survivors: wife, Zandra, son, Michael W. and wife Cherie, of Allentown, daughters, Michele A. Hilgers of Murfreesboro TN, and Jean N. Tyler of Long Pond PA, stepsons, Robert Reiss and wife Lori of Emmaus and Jeffrey Reiss of Whitehall. Beloved grandfather of Brittany, Eric, Christopher, Nicholas, Jared, Ashley, Allan, Tawny, Bryan, and Lauren, 2 great-grandchildren. Daughter Valerie Jezzi and grandson Jordan Reiss predeceased him.

Services: 10:30 am Saturday, Feb. 9, at Jordan U.C.C. 1837 Church Rd., Allentown PA 18104. Calling 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St. Allentown, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church.

Burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery Allentown. Contributions: Jordan U.C.C. Allentown.
