Obituary: Mary Ann Havrilla (Green) Stocker

Mary Ann Havrilla (Green) Stocker, 69, of South Whitehall, died Dec. 5.

 

Mary Ann Havrilla (Green) Stocker, 69, of South Whitehall Township, passed
away Wednesday, Dec. 5, at home. She was the wife of Bruce
A., to whom she was married over 49 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Carson C. and Dorothy M. (Green) Albitz. Until the store closing, she worked as a sales clerk for H. Leh and Company, Whitehall. She was a member of United Church of Christ Greenawalds.

In 1961, she graduated from Louis E. Dieruff High School and later with
her grandchildren became active with the Orefield Middle School theatre
department, creating costumes and assisting with school plays. Mary Ann
had a passion for music. You could always hear her singing. As a child, she
sang on a local radio station.

Survivors: Mary Ann will forever be remembered by her loving and caring
family. Husband, Bruce A., daughter Tracey, wife of John Hildebeidel of South
Whitehall, grandsons Kevin and Tyler, step grandson, Zachary, brother
Wayne Bolt, sisters, Barbara Hitcho, Mildred Schaeffer, Arlene Yoder,
Patricia Whitehead, nine nieces and nephews, two great nephews.

Services: The viewing will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 7 to
8:30 pm at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Services
will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12 at UCC Greenawalds,
2325 Albright Ave., Allentown. Calling hours between 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

Burial at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Contributions in memory of Mary Ann can be made payable to church or the National Prion Disease Pathology Surveillance Center, c/o the funeral home, 18102.
