Coroner: Pedestrian's Death Is Accident

The man killed on Cedar Crest Boulevard on Friday night still has not been identified.

The Lehigh County coroner ruled Monday that a pedestrian struck and killed on Cedar Crest Boulevard died as a result of blunt force injuries suffered in the accident.

Police still have not been able to identify the man killed Friday night.

He is described as an Hispanic man, about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, 30 to 35 years old with multiple tatoos on his arms, legs and chest. He was wearing jeans, black basketball shorts, and a brown, long-sleeved polo-style shirt with a tan stripe, the coroner's report said.

He had been pronounced dead at 9:01 p.m. on Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

The man was struck by a vehicle at 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, South Whitehall police said.
