The arson in the Econo Lodge and Conference Center at 1511 Bulldog Road remains under investigation, said Sgt. Michael Sorrentino of the South Whitehall Township Police Department.

The room was rented, but no one was in it when the fire broke out at about 2:30 p.m. a week ago Sunday. No one was hurt and the fire was put out in minutes as hotel employees used fire extinguishers to knock down flames before firefighters arrived.
