Laundry Detergent Dumped In Car, Police Say

South Whitehall Township Police also said jewelry was stolen from a home on N. 41st Street.

The following information was provided by the South Whitehall Township Police Department:

Criminal Mischief---A resident in the 2000 block of Ruth Street reported at 10:30 a.m. Monday that car doors were opened and laundry detergent was spilled inside the car, police said.

Burglary---Jewelry was reported taken Monday from a residence in the 300 block of N. 41st Street.

Fire---A garbage truck fire was reported at 2:55 p.m. Monday in the 2500 block of Mauch Chunk Road, police said.

Theft---$65 was reported missing at 12:54 a.m. Sunday from a business in the 2000 block of Route 309, police said.
