Object Thrown From School Bus, Strikes Vehicle

Anyone with information is asked to call state police.

Somebody threw a blunt object from a school bus traveling on Route 309, hitting a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, state police at Bethlehem said.

It happened Friday at noon on Route 309, about a quarter-mile south of Kernsville Road in South Whitehall Township. The state police did not indicate what direction the bus was traveling.

State police listed the victim as Philip J. Stofanek Inc. of Nazareth.
