Missing: 5-Foot Dinosaur from Front Porch: A 5-foot dinosuar named "Rexy" went missing from the front porch of a Pen Argyl home, and its family hoped for the creature's safe return.


Suicide by Train Ruled in Teen's Death: The death of a young Northampton County man hit by a train Feb. 17 was ruled a suicide, according to the coroner.

A Bethlehem man who fell into the Monocacy Creek near the Hill-to-Hill Bridge after stopping his car to urinate late Monday is facing drunken driving and other lesser charges, Bethlehem Police said.

: A Palmer Township man tried to walk out of Boscov’s in the Palmer Park Mall with $260 in items he allegedly stole Sunday afternoon when his bag broke and everything fell out, police say.

: An Easton man is charged with stealing a pile of scrap metal from the Pennsylvania Water Rescue facility in the city and receiving about $22 from a scrap yard for the material valued at about $300, police say.

Bethlehem man is facing multiple charges after allegedly eluding police on his dirt bike on a daredevil run through a parking lot, down a staircase and over sidewalks – nearly striking four pedestrians walking in the South Bethlehem Greenway, according to court papers.

I contacted LVHN several months ago about volunteering with my son (8 years old) at the AndersonRead More campus. I would stay with him at all times and supervise him. I was told that they do not accept children. I think its a shame that the hospital will not accept him a a volunteer. I am trying to teach him how to give back to his community . Apparently the hospital does not want our help. I think several patients, especially older ones, would like getting assistance from a young child.

Tom, LVHN does not have an Anderson Campus. I believe you are referring to St Luke's Health Network.Read More LVHN is not able to accept volunteers under the age of 16 years old. There are many mandated reasons that young children are not allowed to volunteer in a hospital setting. Volunteering is a wonderful thing to teach your children. There are organizations in the Leigh Valley who are willing to utilize families. Please visit the Volunteer Center of the Leigh Valley for other opportunities in your area. www.volunteerlv.org
