OMG PD: Girlfriend Hit with Half Gallon of Ice Cream

: Two stolen police cars plus two high-speed chases in two cities in two states added up to a mountain of charges filed against Shayna Sykes and Blake Bills, a Macungie couple who allegedly went on a drug-fueled joy ride through Camden and Philadelphia on Tuesday. Camden Police Chief Scott Thomson called Sykes and Bills the “junkie version of Bonnie and Clyde.” 

 An argument over a cell phone Wednesday night led a Palmer Township man to hit his girlfriend on the head with a half-gallon of ice cream outside a Wilson supermarket, according to court records.

Bethlehem man who in 2011 ran—and lost—a District Judge race has been charged with impersonating a public servant after he allegedly told his insurance company he was a district judge, according to court documents. Justin R. Serfass, 24, of 1345 Martin Court, was arraigned by District Judge Jacob Hammond in South Whitehall.

Manhunt for driver in fatal Brooklyn crash ends at Bethlehem mini-mart: A three-day manhunt for the alleged driver in a hit-and-run crash in Brooklyn that killed a young pregnant woman and her husband ended Wednesday in Bethlehem. Julio Acevedo surrendered to New York City police in a Turkey Hill parking lot in South Bethlehem. The couple's child had been delivered following the crash but subsequently died.  

Police allegedly spotted a Monroe County man urinating on the parking lot of Walmart in Lower Nazareth Township and discovered he had a stun gun and a flare gun. The gun problem? The man was not allowed to have guns because of previous burglary convictions in New York, court records say.

McDonald's receipt led police to alleged burglars: A McDonald’s receipt found at the site of a home burglary helped lead police to a Moore Township man accused of selling methamphetamine to a confidential source as well as participating in the burglary with a neighbor, according to court records.
