One Injured in Crash at I-78 Off-Ramp

The one-vehicle accident happened at 8:46 a.m. on President's Day.

One person was slightly injured in a one-vehicle crash Monday, Feb. 20, on the off-ramp from Interstate 78 westbound, according to state police at Fogelsville.

Eric Frary, 31, of Tobyhanna, was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. 

According to state police, Frary was travelling west on the Exit 54 B off ramp from I-78 when he lost control of his car and began to travel to the left roadside. He turned to the right in an attempt to correct the move, but he could not regain control. The car went off the road and onto the grass median, where it overturned onto its passenger side and rolled twice before resting on its driver side.

Frary was able to get himself out of the car, state police said. 

The car was towed from the scene. Frary will be cited for violation of vehicle code, driving at safe speed, state police said.
