Police Blotter: Criminal Mischief, Thefts, Arrests
The following information was supplied by the South Whitehall Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Criminal mischief
-- Vehicle spraypainted, reported at 8:19 a.m. on Oct. 28, in the 1400 block of Springhouse Road. Harrassment by communication also reported, at 8:40 a.m.; police said ex-couple told to stop communicating with each other.
-- Graffiti written on electrical box, reported at 1:14 p.m. on Oct. 27, in the 2900 block of Hamilton Boulevard.

Theft
-- Pair of earrings and $100 taken; reported on Oct. 27, at retirement community.

-- Twenty-three 3-inch brass water pipe caps taken; reported at 1:10 p.m. on Oct. 25, at Cedarview Apartments.
-- Cellphone taken; reported at 9:50 p.m. on Oct. 22, at .
Theft from Vehicle
-- $5 taken from vehicle; reported at 9:29 a.m. on Oct. 19, in the 3100 block of South Drive.
Possible Burglary
-- Window broken at Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road; reported at 8:55 a.m. on Oct. 23; it is not known whether anything was taken.
Accidents
-- One person was reported injured in a two-vehicle crash, at 4 p.m. on Oct. 27, in the 3400 block of Hamilton Boulevard.
-- One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash, at 3:05 p.m. on Oct. 27, at Route 309 North and Sieger Road; two vehicles were towed from the scene.
-- One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:27 p.m. on Oct. 26, at Orefield and Lime Kiln Road; both vehicles towed from scene.
-- One person was injured in a hit and run accident at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, at Tilghman Street and Route 309 North.
Charged:
-- Elissa Leibman, 25, of Emmaus, with possession of a small amount of marijuana; 12:09 a.m. on Oct. 26 in the 3500 block of Hamilton Boulevard. A 17-year-old female cited for underaged drinking, and released.
-- Andrew Chapkovich, 69, of Orefield, with simple assault; at 7:40 p.m. on Oct. 28, in the 2700 block of Route 309.
-- Phillip Kim 24, of Philadelphia, with simple assault; at 7:53 p.m. on Oct. 22, at Dorney Park.
-- Stauros Mantass, 18, of Schnecksville with possession of a small amount of marijuana; at 8:01 p.m. on Oct. 18, in the 3400 block of Walbert Avenue. A 17-year-old boy also was charged.
