Police Blotter: Rocks Through Bay Windows, Thefts, More

South Whitehall police responded to a number of incidents from April 12-18.

According to  police, the following incidents and arrests occurred in the township from April 12 to April 18:

-- Fraud reported at Target, at 10 a.m. on April 12; two counterfeit $100 bills passed.

- Theft reported on Schaeffer Street, at 2:04 pm. on April 12; 'No Parking' sign stolen.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 8:22 p.m. on April 12, at PJ Welihan's; car window smashed.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 1:57 a.m. on April 12, in the 700 block of South Marshall Street; vehicle window smashed.

-- One person was reported injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9:18 a.m. on April 13, on Tilghman Street west to Route 309 north; one vehicle was towed from the scene.

-- Three-vehicle crash occurred on April 13 at Route 309 and Ridgeview Avenue; vehicles towed from scene. No additional information was immediately available.

-- Theft of vehicle reported at 6:11 p.m. on April 13, in the 3900 block of Broadway; registration plate stolen.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 6:19 p.m. on April 13, in the 1200 block of North Seventeenth Street; tires on trailer slashed.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 3 a.m. on April 14, in the 3400 block of Trexler Boulevard; rock thrown through bay window, smashing it.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 7:14 a.m. on April 14, in the 1000 block of North 32nd Street; rock thrown through bay window, smashing it.

-- Theft reported at 10 a.m. on April 14, at Parkland High School; jacket stolen. Theft reported again at 10:30 a.m.; undisclosed amount of cash taken.

-- One person reported injured in two-vehicle crash, at 3:35 pm. on April 14, at Tilghman and Route 309.

-- Theft reported 1:46 a.m. on April 15, at the Giant at Village West shopping center; 15 razor blades taken.

-- Theft from vehicle reported at 7:30 a.m. on April 15, in the 2200 block of Grove Street; rear passenger window smashed, change taken.

-- Theft from vehicle reported at 7:38  a.m. on April 15, in the 1300 block of North 22nd Street; change taken.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 8:34 a.m. on April 15, in the 2200 block of Helen Street; window broken.

-- Theft from vehicle reported at 12:38 a.m. on April 15, in the 2000 block of Columbia Street; knife taken.

-- Theft from vehicle reported at 3:30 p.m. on April 15, in the 5200 block of Chandler Way; center cap taken.

-- One person reported injured in two-vehicle crash at 11:12 a.m. on April 16, in the 2500 block of Route 309; one vehicle towed from scene.

-- Burglary reported at 10:36 a.m. on April 16, in the 4300 block of Creek Road; purse with key, 2007 blue Volvo 560 stolen. Vehicle recovered in New Jersey. Case still under investigation.

-- Retail theft reported at 1:51 p.m. on April 16, at Kmart, 4701 Tilghman St.; two juveniles cited and released for allegedly stealing gum, soda and video games.

-- One person reported injured in one-vehicle crash, at 6:50 p.m. on April 16, at Route 309 and Interstate 78; vehicle towed from scene.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 8:46 p.m. on April 16, in the 2200 block of Village Road; windows kicked out.

-- Theft from vehicle reported at 9:02 a.m. on April 18, in the 1100 block of North 24th Street; wheel, rim taken.
