Police Blotter: Thefts, Burglaries, Criminal Mischief

South Whitehall police responded to a number of incidents from March 28 to April 4.

According to South Whitehall police, the following incidents and arrests occurred in the township from March 28 to April 4:

-- A stolen 1990 Plymouth Sundance was recovered on March 28, at South Whitehall Salvage.

--  Thefts reported at Parkland High School on March 29 at 8 a.m., an iPod; at 9:45 a.m., a cellphone and cash. Reported on March 30 at 11 a.m, jewelry; reported on March 31 at 5:20 p.m., cellphone; and reported on April 4 at 10:30 a.m., book and iPod.

--  Report of individuals attempting to sell marijuana at a school bus stop, at 3:03 p.m. on March 29, at North 39th and Turner streets. 

-- Burglary reported at 10:15 p.m. on March 29, in the 4100 block of Kilmer Avenue; house entered but nothing taken.

-- Theft reported at 2:26 pm. on March 30, in the 1400 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard; petty cash and computer discs taken.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 7:30 a.m. on March 31, at Parkland High School; windshield cracked.

-- One person was reported injured in a three-vehicle crash at 2:02 p.m. on March 31, and Center Street and Walbert Avenue; one vehicle was towed from the scene.

-- Credit card fraud reported at 5:37 p.m. on March 31 at Target.

-- One person was reported slightly injured in a three-vehicle crash at 5:27 p.m. on March 31, in the 4800 block of Tilghman Street; two vehicles were towed from the scene.

-- Arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:37 p.m. on April 1, at Route 309 and Walbert Avenue, John Hollawell, 51, of Orefield; charges pending blood-alcohol test results.

-- Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:45 p.m. on April 1, Randy Williams, 18, of Macungie.

-- Arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:34 a.m. on April 2, Ted M. Kistler, 23, of Allentown; charges pending blood alcohol test results.

-- Harassment reported at 5:55 p.m. on April 2, in the 2000 block of Greenawalds Avenue; eggs thrown at vehicle.

-- Burglary reported at 10:13 p.m. on April 3, in the 1400 block of Cedarwood Drive; 46-inch flat screen TV, DVD and jewelry taken.

-- Attempted burglary reported at 11:19 p.m. on April 3, in the 3600 block of Dorney Park Road; nothing found missing.

-- Attempted burglary reported at 7:35 a.m. on April 4, in the 5200 block of Blue Sky Drive; sliding door partially opened, no entry made to home.

-- Criminal mischief to vehicle reported at 11:38 a.m. on April 4, in the 1700 block of Brown Street; graffiti.

-- Criminal mischief reported at 4:06 p.m. on April 4, in the 4200 block of Manor Drive; mustard sprayed on property.
