Police Blotter: TVs Stolen from LA Fitness, More

The following information was supplied by the South Whitehall Police Department.

According to South Whitehall police, the following were among the incidents that occurred in the township from Dec. 2 to Dec. 7:

Burglary

--Three TVs and $800 were stolen from LA Fitness, 1515 Mauch Chunk Road; reported at 7:07 a.m. on Dec. 5.

-- Someone broke into Cigar Bars, 4260 Tilghman St.; reported at 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 4. It was not immediately known if anything was taken.

Criminal Mischief

-- Someone punctured four tires on a vehicle parked at Lincoln Technical Institute, 5151 Tilghman St. The incident was reported at 12:15 p.m. on Dec. 7.

-- A car was keyed in the 1900 block of Custer Street; reported at 11:21 a.m. on Dec. 3.

Theft

-- A laptop was stolen from the 4300 block of Creek Road; reported at 11:45 a.m. on Dec. 7.

-- A wallet was stolen at ; reported at 1 p.m. on Dec. 6.

-- Jewelry was stolen from the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Street; reported at 12:40 p.m. on Dec. 4.

-- Five lighted stars and a lighted spiral tree were taken from the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Street; reported at 12:38 p.m. on Dec. 4.

-- A wallet containing a driver's license and credit cards was stolen from ; reported at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2.

-- $20 was taken from someone's pants pocket at Planet Fitness; reported at 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 2.

-- A wallet containing $50 was taken from a locker at Planet Fitness; reported at 6 p.m. on Dec. 2.

-- A wallet containing $710 was taken from LA Fitness; reported at 5:58 p.m. on Dec. 2. 

-- A wallet containing $20 and a driver's license was taken from LA Fitness; reported at 4:40 p.m. on Dec. 2.

-- A wallet containing $16, a driver's license and credit cards was taken from LA Fitness; reported at 4:40 p.m. on Dec. 2.

Property Found

-- A black purse was found in the 1600 block of N. 26th Street, at 7:48 a.m. on Dec. 7.

-- A watch was taken at , 3220 Hamilton St.; reported at 11:37 p.m. on Dec. 6.

Accidents 

-- One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at Route 309 and Ridgeview Drive, at 4:33 p.m. on Dec. 6; the vehicles were towed from the scene.

-- One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in the 3000 block of Hamilton Boulevard, at 11:32 a.m. on Dec. 6; the vehicles were towed from the scene.

-- One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at Tilghman Square; reported at 5:31 p.m. on Dec. 2.

Harrassment

-- A vehicle was egged in the 3400 block of Ritter Road; reported at 3:59 p.m. on Dec. 5.

-- A vehicle was egged in the 2300 block of Albright Avenue; reported at 7:29 a.m. on Dec. 4.

Theft from Vehicle

-- A window was smashed and a purse was taken from a vehicle parked at ; reported at 12:10 p.m. on Dec. 5. Another car there had a cracked window but the person did not enter the vehicle.

-- $10 in change was stolen from a vehicle in the 1200 block of N. 22nd Street; reported at 7:32 p.m. on Dec. 2.

-- $550 and baseball cards were taken from a vehicle in the 1300 block of N. 26th Street; reported at 5:52 a.m. on Dec. 2.
