State police say two passengers, also from Reading, facing underage drinking charges.
A Reading man could face "numerous charges," following a traffic stop Thursday night at Hamilton Boulevard east of Cedar Crest Boulevard in South Whitehall Township, state police said.
Meanwhile, the vehicle's two passengers are facing underage drinking charges, according to a news release from troopers.
The release also says:
- The vehicle, driven by Tyree Allen Farley, 20, was stopped around 11:52 p.m. after police noticed it left its lane of travel "about three times" as it was northbound on Hamilton Boulevard.
- Police found Farley was driving with a suspended license and showed signs of being drunk. He was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving.
- Farley also was found to be concealing a small bag of heroin in his possession and further tampered with the drugs by concealing it while in a police cruiser, troopers said.
- The passengers—Gilbert P. Santa Jr., 20, and Michael Anthony Echavarria, 19, both of Reading—are facing underage drinking charges.
- Farley is facing "numerous charges" pending the results of a blood-alcohol test done at Lehigh County Prison.
