South Whitehall Police Arrest Man for Threatening Father with Knife

South Whitehall police report a domestic disturbance on Danweber Way. Arrests do not indicate conviction.


South Whitehall police report a son visited his father only to end up threatening him with a knife and running from police through neighborhood yards.

Called to investigate a domestic disturbance Dec. 2, police arrested Louis Fernando Rosa, 33, of 1038 Danweber Way at 2:50 p.m. and charged him with simple assault, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, terroristic threats and harassment.

Police reported that one officer was at the scene and reported to others who were en route that Rosa, who had been asked to leave the house the day before, returned to see his father and gained entry to the house.

The father told police his son entered the house and went into the kitchen to throw away a beer he had in his pocket. He took some bagels off the counter and started to cut them with a knife. The father said his son then picked up the knife and threatened him so he picked up a bar stool and held it between them. The son then left.

When a police officer located Rosa, he ran through several yards before he stopped and police arrested him.
