South Whitehall Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the South Whitehall Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

According to South Whitehall police, the following occurred in the township from July 5 to July 12.

Theft:

--Reported at 11:34 p.m. on July 5 at Dorney Park; cell phone taken.

 --Reported at 3:25 p.m. on July 6 at Rodeway Inn, 1151 Bulldog Drive; $8,000 taken. 

--Reported at 8:20 p.m. on July 8 at Dorney Park; cell phone taken.

--Reported at 10:35 a.m. on July 11 at Dorney Park; book bag taken and returned, but two cell phones taken.

-Reported at 9:30 a.m. on July 12 at LA Fitness, 1515 Mauch Chunk Road; wallet taken from locker.

 

Accidents:

--One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:19 p.m. on July 5 at Hamilton Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue; two vehicles towed.

--One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8:43 a.m. on July 7 in the 3200 block of Hamilton Boulevard; two vehicles towed.

--One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident at 10:28 p.m. on July 9 in the 1900 block of Girard Avenue; two vehicles towed.

--One person riding a bike was struck by a vehicle and injured, at 10:48 a.m. on July 11 in the 3100 block of Hamilton Boulevard.

--Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:03 p.m. on July 11 at the ramp of Route 309 South and Tilghman Street west.

 

Criminal Mischief:

--Reported at 10:04 a.m. on July 6 in the 1000 block of Hausman Road; vehicle spray painted. 

--Reported at 11:51 a.m. on July 7 in the 1000 block of Hausman Road; vehicle radiator hose cut.

--Reported at 7 a.m. on July 8 in the 4000 block of Walbert Avenue; vehicle drove through corn field.

--Reported at 8:31 p.m. on July 10 in the 3600 block of Congress Street; garden hose cut and nail found in vehicle tire.
