South Whitehall Police Report Stray Bullet Hits House, Thefts from Cars, Smashed Window

Information from the South Whitehall Police blotter.

South Whitehall Police report the following incidents between Jan. 8 - 10:  

  • On Jan. 8 at 3:19 p.m. police report change was stolen from a car at 4422 Astor Drive.
  • On Jan. 8 at 3:40 p.m. police report a possible theft was thwarted at Target. Two females wearing backpacks collected a cart full of merchandise but abandoned it and left with nothing.
  • On Jan. 8 police report the house at 1940 Pirma Ave. was hit by a stray bullet. Police say it could be a hunter and notified the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
  • On Jan. 9 at 8:40 p.m. police report an incident of road rage when a van forced another car off the road at 2219 N. Cedar Crest Blvd.
  • On Jan. 10 at 7:26 a.m. police report a GPS was taken from a car at 1831 Hemming Way.
  • On Jan. 10 at 7:28 a.m. police report a car window was smashed at 4365 Farmington.
