Unstable Woman reported

  • On Nov. 20 at 12:52 p.m. police report responding to a scene where a woman who was the passenger in a car was attempting to get out and run into traffic at Route 309 and Route 22. Police report she was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Suspicious Person and attempted theft reports

  •  On Nov. 30 at 1:37 a.m. police report a suspicious person and the attempted theft of pallets and cardboard from Kmart.
  • On Nov. 20 at 12:25 p.m. police report suspicious activity and possible attempted theft of DVDs from Giant in Village West.

  • On Nov. 29 at 9:59 a.m. drugs were reported destroyed at Goodwill.
  • On Nov. 21 at 10:36 p.m. police report three male juveniles were arrested at Tilghman and Cedar Crest. One, age 17, was arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Another boy, age 17, was cited for underage drinking and a third boy, age 15, was cited for underage drinking.

Thefts

  • On Nov. 27 at 11:30 a.m. police report a credit card was stolen from Panera Bread.
  • On Nov. 26 at 2:25 p.m. police report an employee at Dunkin Donuts on Tilghman St. stole money from the cash drawer. Police are still investigating.
  • On Nov. 26 at 11:19 a.m. police report a theft of service at Lena's Cafe after trash that did not belong to the restaurant was left in dumpster.
  • On Nov. 24 at 9:56 p.m. police report that patrons left without paying their bill at Applebees.
  • On Nov. 23 police report a cell phone was stolen from Gourmet Buffet & Grill.
  • On Nov. 21 at 9:59 a.m. police report $175 was stolen from someone's purse at Cedarbrook.
  • On Nov. 25 at 1:40 p.m. police report a credit card was stolen from a locker at LA Fitness and then used at Target, Weis and attempted to use at Wine & Spirits.
  • On Nov. 23 at 11:49 a.m. police report a jacket, keys and credit card were stolen from someone at Target.
  • On Nov. 20 at 1:20 police report a cell phone was stolen from someone at Parkland High School.

Burglary

  • On Nov. 29 at 4:34 p.m. police report a burglary occurred at 1411 N. 24th St. One red plastic gasoline container was taken from a garage.

Bad Checks

  • On Nov. 28 at 12:08 p.m. police report four bad checks were passed at Haines Exxon on Mauch Chunk Rd. Police are still investigating but the checks totaled $275.44 and were written to pay for gas.

Shooting

  • On Nov. 26 at 1:35 p.m police report a slug from a 12-gauge hunting gun went through the window at 5280 High Vista. The case has been referred to the PA Game Commission.

Disturbance

  • On Nov. 24 police report there was a disturbance from a man attempting to buy liquor at Wine & Spirits on North Cedar Crest Boulevard. The man was gone when police arrived.
