Four Charged with Theft by Deception at Target

The following information was obtained from South Whitehall police and court documents. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Four people from Illinois have been charged with conspiring to steal from the Target store in South Whitehall through deception, according to court records.

Kiera Hill, 21, Marsellis Noble, 22, and Dionte Flowers, 22, all of Chicago, and Sherelle Boutte, 21, of Calumet City, are each charged with conspiracy to commit theft by deception. 

According to court records, the four had purchased 52 Sonicare and other cosmetic devices on Sept. 12 using coupons to buy them for a discounted total price of $780. Total retail value would have been $1,419.

The store manager said they then returned some of the items for their full retail cash value of $645.80, according to the court records.

District Judge Jacob Hammond set bail for each at $10,000 straight.
