A South Whitehall man was one of five men arrested in a police-orchestrated prostitution sting at a "cooperating Hanover Township, Northampton County hotel," according to a press release issued Wednesday by Colonial Regional Police.
Police say Marc A. Capozzolo, 27, of the 300 block of North 40th Street, South Whitehall, was arrested between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Feb. 21.
Also arrested were Ronald J. Cantwell, 48, of the first block of West Saucon Street, Hellertown; Matthew J. Groller, 36, of the 1500 block of Laubach Avenue, Northampton; Ryan G. Abdouche, 24, of the 600 block of Hanover Avenue, Allentown; and David M. Haybron, 51, of the 100 block of North Park Road, Wyomissing, Berks County.
"All agreed with an undercover police officer to sex acts for the prices ranging from $80 to $200," the press release said.
Cantwell and the other men will receive summonses from the office of District Judge James Narlesky, police said.
Police did not identify the hotel where the operation took place.
